Ikigai Duo presents a concert in which music, emotion, light and colour are blended beyond styles and paradigms.
Momentum includes music by Einaudi, Zimmer, Coldplay, Queen and some gems from the classical repertoire. An experience where the mise-en-scène challenges the limits of the classical concert.

About Ikigai Duo
Winners of several International Competitions in Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Russia; Naira & Vicente have established Ikigai as a piano duo with a solid international presence.
They are well known for their captivating ways of connecting with the audience and their wide repertoire. On the last season, they have performed 95 concerts in Europe, playing for more than 50.000 people.

Magistrale musici
In het Momentum beleefden we een avond die nog lang zal nazinderen. Het pianoconcert van het Ikigai Duo was niet zomaar een uitvoering, het was een ervaring!
We zaten op de eerste rij, op nauwelijks enkele meters van de vleugels. Die nabijheid maakte alles intenser: de subtiele blikwissels tussen beide pianisten, de finesse van elke aanslag. Vanaf de eerste noten werd duidelijk dat hier twee musici speelden die niet alleen technisch uitmuntend zijn, maar ook volledig op elkaar afgestemd. Hun samenspel was zo organisch dat het soms leek alsof één muzikale geest zich over twee instrumenten uitstrekte.
Wat deze avond werkelijk bijzonder maakte, was de sfeer die ze wisten te creëren. Er waren momenten die ronduit magisch aanvoelden; breekbaar, verstild, alsof de tijd even ophield te bestaan. De klank vulde de zaal met warmte en diepte, zonder ooit te overweldigen. Andere passages waren dan weer sprankelend en energiek, met een dynamiek die het publiek zichtbaar meesleepte.
Het concert bracht een zeldzame vorm van complete ontspanning. De dagelijkse drukte viel moeiteloos van ons af; er bleef alleen muziek over. Betoverend is geen te groot woord. Je voelde hoe de zaal samen ademhaalde, hoe stilte evenveel zeggingskracht kreeg als de noten zelf.
Dit was geen avond waarop je enkel “luistert”. Dit was een avond waarop je wordt meegenomen, gedragen, en uiteindelijk stil achterblijft, met een glimlach, en het gevoel iets uitzonderlijks te hebben meegemaakt.

Wij hebben genoten vanaf de eerste noot, t was prachtig. 4 handen Zo vloeiend in elkaar , zo passioneel…
