Ikigai Duo presents a concert in which music, emotion, light and colour are blended beyond styles and paradigms.
Momentum includes music by Einaudi, Zimmer, Coldplay, Queen and some gems from the classical repertoire. An experience where the mise-en-scène challenges the limits of the classical concert.
We have personally chosen every detail to ensure that the audience enjoys a magical experience: the selection of music, the creation of the lighting that accompanies each piece, the piano we will be playing and every member of the team who will be there that night. – Ikigai Duo

About Ikigai Duo
Winners of several International Competitions in Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Russia; Naira & Vicente have established Ikigai as a piano duo with a solid international presence.
They are well known for their captivating ways of connecting with the audience and their wide repertoire. On the last season, they have performed 95 concerts in Europe, playing for more than 50.000 people.

Un moment de partage intergénérationnel
Avec ma maman, nous écoutons ABBA depuis que je suis petite. Je les ai découverts quand elle m’a fait voir le film Mamma Mia. Ce concert nous a permis de redécouvrir ce groupe d’une manière différente, tout en nous rappelant pourquoi il reste un classique intemporel. Ce duo de pianistes nous a fait remonter dans le temps le temps d’une soirée, une expérience vraiment magique.
Un concert émouvant
Je suis moi-même pianiste et j’aime particulièrement jouer les œuvres de Ludovico Einaudi, car elles me font ressentir une intensité d’émotions rares. Pour moi, il est sans aucun doute l’un des plus grands compositeurs contemporains.
Ma venue à votre concert était un cadeau offert par ma copine, un présent qui m’a profondément marqué. Durant la soirée, j’ai été ému aux larmes : vos interprétations ont ravivé en moi des souvenirs à la fois tristes et joyeux, et j’ai également été touché par l’attention de ma copine à travers ce cadeau.
Les pièces d’Einaudi s’entrelacent entre tristesse, joie, mélancolie, nostalgie et bonheur… toutes ces émotions universelles qui résonnent en chacun de nous, mais qui, pour ma part, trouvent un écho tout particulier.
Merci infiniment pour ce concert inoubliable.

De muziek was niet alleen technisch heel sterk, maar ook ontzettend emotioneel en meeslepend. Je voelde duidelijk dat ze met liefde en passie speelden, wat de avond onvergetelijk maakte. Ik zou een concert van Ikigai zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden.
About the venue
Listed as part of Wallonia’s exceptional architectural heritage, the Church of Saint-Jacques is situated on one of the routes leading to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. Its oldest part is the lower half of the tower of the original Romanesque church, built around 1150. The central nave, the aisles and the transept, dating from the first quarter of the 13th century, are typical examples of the Tournai Gothic style.
